VERTIGO Shelving System

VERTIGO is a shelving system that allows you to build a vertical structure by combining any number of plywood or solid wood shelves with four sizes of supporting consoles, resulting in a light, ethereal, yet striking construction.

A specially engineered structural system allows playful compositions while ensuring a heavy-duty, stable shelving unit. The design and aesthetic character emerge directly from the clearly expressed structural logic. The spaces between each pair of shelves can be freely configured to meet individual requirements. By combining the four different console sizes, vertical spacing of 24, 36, 60, or 75 cm can be achieved (e.g. 24 cm for small books, 75 cm for hi-fi equipment or larger objects).

The shelving system can be accessed from all sides and positioned freely within a space. It is equally usable from both sides and can also function as a room divider.

Freestanding shelf

When used as a freestanding unit, widened legs ensure safe and stable placement anywhere in the room. In this configuration, the recommended maximum height of the construction is 2 metres. The two legs are made of stainless steel and feature adjustable levelling feet, allowing precise vertical alignment.

Against a wall

When installed next to a wall, a rectangular leg on one side allows the shelf to be placed close to the wall surface. If additionally fixed to the wall, the construction can be built up to a height of 3 metres.
